Help young people leaving Family-Based Child Care take their
NEXT STEPS to a positive future.
In Myanmar, high school is completed with Grade 10. After which, young people are able to find jobs or go on
for vocational training. Those desiring to go on to university or Bible college stay go on through Grade 12.​
There are no after-school or summer jobs available. There are no "student loans"

These young women attended a bakery course after high school. Upon completion, with help from the Dave Geran Memorial Scholarship Fund,
they opened a bakery in their village.
The bakery is so successful, they are now helping support their families
so their younger siblings can attend school.
Vocational Training is $500-1000
College tuition is $1000-1500 a semester
