Family-Based Child Care Core Value:
to ensure that young people leaving the program are prepared to take their next steps to a
safe, healthy, productive young adulthood.
In Myanmar, high school is completed at Grade 10. After which, young people are able to find jobs or go on
for special job skill training.

For those desiring to go to university or Bible college, they must go on through 12 grade. In grades 11 and 12 students work with a tutor to prepare for a college entrance exam.

These young women attended a bakery course after high school. Upon completion, with help from the Dave Geran Memorial Scholarship Fund, they opened a bakery in their village.
The bakery is so successful, these young
women are helping support their families
so their younger siblings can attend school.
