WHAT IS LEADERSHIP TRAINING?
For over 25 years, Dr. Lu has ministered to remote tribes in Northern Myanmar and its borderlands, introducing men and women to Jesus Christ and encouraging them to become devoted Christ-followers. Thousands of individuals have come to know Christ and many villages now have a Christian church. Dr. Lu bases this training on II Timothy 2:2-3 which emphasizes the importance of helping new believers to grow in their relationship with Christ, teaching them how to share their faith with others, who will in turn teach others. Dr. Lu calls this the "Principle of Multiplication"
Today there are more than 6000 men and women trained as pastors, evangelists, and church planters under the leadership of Asia Frontier Outreach. Based on II Timothy2:3, Dr Lu calls these men and women "Jesus Foot Soldiers"

At first, Dr. Lu traveled from village to village preaching the Gospel. As people accepted Christ, he taught them how to study the Bible, grow in their faith, and share their faith with others. The Covid pandemic in 2020 and a military coup in 2021 abruptly stopped Dr. Lu's teaching trips.

Today, Dr. Lu teaches 2–3-hour sessions twice a week online. He reaches 2,000 men and women with Bible teaching, pastoral training, and personal discipleship. Thank the Lord for providing the technology that makes this ministry possible. Pray for Dr. Lu as he prepares and teaches; as well as for the students as they learn what God has for them.
