THE DAVE GERAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Dave Geran
July 29, 1960 - October 18, 2017
Dave Geran was a people person. His love and acceptance of others radiated, even (especially) across cultural and language boundaries. Dave spent two decades working in auto-motive supply sales across Asia living in Japan, China, and Thailand. Dave was also a great lover of arts and culture. He was a dramatic storyteller and talented sketch artist.
When Dave heard about the work of Asia Frontier Outreach(AFO) and specifically Rainbow Children’s Home(RCH), he wanted to help. He tried, but was unable, to get a new vehicle donated to RCH.
Upon his death in October 2017, Dave’s family and friends decided to honor him by establishing a scholarship fund for young people transitioning out of AFO children’s homes. Dave would be pleased to know his legacy of love lives on by supporting young women and men in Myanmar to pursue their dreams through education or training in their chosen field.
