Promise Children's Home -
IN WAR-TORN NORTHERN MYANMAR
"I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you."
21 children remain in the care of Pastor Ah See and his wife.
Dr. Lu reports: "The Lord has impressed upon my heart to care for these displaced children. Asia Frontier Outreach was able to help with funds for this building some time ago. But we are in need of our continued support for nutritious food, clothing, medical care, tuition for school, and other daily needs of the children.".
Please pray for these children and their caregivers, as they recover from the trauma of war and the loss of their parents and homes.
On-going civil war has torn families apart in rural, ethnic communities in Myanmar. Village churches have responded and taken in hundreds of children orphaned or separated from their parent. At the same time, work is going on to find out where they are from, and for family reunification, if possible.
Asia Frontier Outreach-USA is very happy to have recently been able to bless Promise Children's Home with a new 3-wheeled truck. They previously had no transportation for the children. They were walking to school 5 miles in all weather: torrential rains and 100+ degree temperatures.
