A church building is very significant in the culture of remote villages in Myanmar and its northern borderlands. Most congregations can only afford a bamboo building, but bamboo usually deteriorates after 2 or 3 years, or the structure is destroyed by heavy rains or storms. Many congregations have saved for 10 years or more to buy the materials needed to build a permanent church building. They are ready and willing to do the labor, but the cost of materials is beyond what they can afford.
Let's help these brothers and sisters get their church buildings built.

Please meet the congregation of this church* on the Myanmar/China border. They have been saving & working for 9 years. If they had the funds for the rest of the materials, they could finish their building.

* Pastor Lu writes: "This is the pastor and his family of this church. He is one of our Jesus Foot Soldiers, and has been in ministry for 20 years. Many people have come to know Jesus as their Savior through the teaching of this faithful man of God.
To reach this remote mountain village, the workers have to carry things like cement and other materials on foot, walking for days. It is very hard work."
$6000 is needed for the materials to complete this building. As of November 1, we have $2785
